Mark Yzaguirre was born and raised on the Mexican border in Brownsville, Texas. He attended the University of Texas and graduated from Rice University and Harvard Law School, and he is an attorney in Houston.

Mark is a consulting member and supported of AlienNation Co, and he has been active in Houston's art community for a number of years, especially in his role as President of the Board of the Aurora Picture Show. He is also involved with other arts organizations, including the Cultural Arts Council of Houston/Harris County.

He encourages others to become involved in the community, and finding enjoyment exploring the art scene in Houston.
