We wanted to use familiar opera conventions in new directions, integrating movement and narration on stage with video projection, 3D animation, kinetic sculptures, and an electronic score performed live by a small orchestra and three singers.

After 6 months of development, we started stage rehearsal and scenic composition, and we no longer think strictly of opera, nor of dance, but of animated voices, voice textures, textured images, inversions and sonic convolutions. We are working on rhythms, exploring faces that cannot form words, muscles that can barely move.
